ALARM WRISTBAND

WHAT IS THE ALARM WRIST BAND?

When you are admitted, the nurse will give you a patient band with your personal information on it. This way we always know who you are. In addition to the patient band, you will be given a blank wristband with an alarm button. With this button you can alarm your nurse when you are not in your room. For example, when you go to the bathroom or are in the lounge on the floor. The alarm button is waterproof, so you can simply shower with it.

MOBILE NUMBER
The nurse will write down your mobile number if you have one. This way he or she can call you if you have pressed the alarm button and are not in your room. Are you not answering your cell phone? Then a nurse will always come to you. The nurse can see where your call is coming from.

PLACING THE CALL
You alert the nurse by pressing the alarm button once briefly. The nurse receives the call immediately.

EXAMINATION OR TREATMENT
Some examinations or treatments require your alarm wristband to be taken off. In this case, take the button back to the department. You can ask for a new band there.

RETURN
When you are discharged from the hospital, return the alarm wristband. It is valuableĀ and will be reused by us.
